Energy transition A complex transformation

There is a demand for learning solutions in which generating a substantive understanding of the changes at hand meet the impact of individual behavior. Serious Games are highly suitable tools through which this complicated dynamic can be reconstructed in a clear way. In small, manageable steps, Serious Games enable players to experience how things will change and what the effect of their own behavior is.

In een behapbare setting kunnen we zodoende deelnemers laten ervaren hoe deze verandering nu precies werkt en welke rol het eigen gedrag hierin speelt.

For Alliander (the Netherlands’ largest network operator), we developed a chain game that enables employees to experience the impact of the energy transition on their energy infrastructure and on how they work together with their partners.

We also deploy games for consumers. In collaboration with Ennatuurlijk and WSP Lievense, we created a board game to raise awareness among homeowners about alternatives to natural gas to heat their homes.

Serious Games are exceptionally useful tools to get to grips with the complex themes of the energy transition through approachable, tangible learning experiences. While playing, players learn what their personal impact as an employee or consumer is.
